Stuffed chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 whole deboned chicken (Dar El Fellous)
  • 150g of basmati rice
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 6 small potatoes
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Cook the rice with a pinch of turmeric. Add parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stuff the deboned chicken with this mixture, then tie it to keep it closed.
  3. Place the stuffed chicken in a baking dish with the small potatoes, butter, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting regularly with the cooking juices.
