Roast Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken or 1 marinated whole chicken (Dar El Fellous)
  • 6 potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 sprigs of thyme
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. Place the chicken in a roasting dish. Rub it with olive oil, salt, and pepper if needed.
  3. Arrange the potatoes, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and bay leaves around the chicken.
  4. Roast for 1 hour and 30 minutes, turning the potatoes halfway through the cooking time.
